I watched a video of Jeff Nippard recently where he explained why full ROM is not necessary for growing your calves. He quoted a study that show partial range of motion, which allows for heavier weight, resulted in more muscle growth. I have been trying this for a couple of weeks, and it does allow me to go heavier, but it's obviously impossible to see any calve growth in only a couple of weeks.
What's your take on this?
